The qualifications for pastoral service are twofold.
Spiritually, a person must have had an experience of salvation, be wholly committed to the Lord Jesus Christ, know a call to full-time service, have some experience in Christian service and be in agreement with the C&MA's doctrine and vision for ministry.
Educationally, a person must have a minimum of a Dip. Th. (preferably a B.Th.) from the Australia College of Ministries (ACOM) or its equivalent. At the conclusion of theological training, an ordination study programme must be completed including an oral doctrinal examination.
Ordained ministers from other denominations seeking credentials will undertake a course of reading and will be examined by the Ordination Council.
The qualifications for missionary service ministry are threefold.

Role Summary:
Develop, promote, lead and deliver programs and events for children and families at BHCAC and among the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate and lead initiatives related to children and their families. These include:
- Sunday morning program
- School holiday programs
- Occasional outreach events (e.g. Christmas & Easter)
- Partner with parents
- Recruit, train and develop a volunteer leadership team.

Baulkham Hills Chinese Alliance Church (BHCAC)
BHCAC belongs to the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination of Australia located in the Sydney Hills area. We have three congregations of around 330 individuals: Cantonese (approx. 230), English (approx. 40) and Mandarin (approx. 60).

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Pastor to provide servant-leadership and coordination for our "One Interdependent Church". This is a unique, high-level leadership role focused on nurturing the church’s DNA, discerning God’s vision, and leading our Ministry Team and United Elders.
Unlike traditional pastoral roles, the Senior Pastor focuses on church-wide unity and cross-congregational oversight (Youth, Children, Missions, and Administration) rather than the primary biblical teaching for a specific congregation.

Perth Alliance Church English Congregation (PACE)
PACE was established in 1998. PACE primarily comprises high school students, young adults, and families with young children. While members come from a variety of cultural backgrounds, the majority are ethnic Chinese. Currently, around 50 people gather each Sunday for worship, with nearly 50% being high school students.
The Mission of PACE is ‘Making, Equipping and Sending Disciples of Jesus’ and in addition to our regular Sunday Service, we also have:

Summary of Position
